Spartak Moscow Hockey Club and the biggest foreign air company in Russia Turkish Airlines announced renewal of partnership agreement. Cooperation with Spartak became the first partnership project for Turkish company in Russian sport. The logo of the company appeared on jerseys and fans were involved in decent numbers of activities.
Museum of hockey in Moscow was host the official ceremony of signings new contract between two sides. Turkish Airlines' Vice President Sale, North Europe, Mahmut Yayla, Turkish Airlines in Russia General Manager Turan Yardimdi, The Chairman of Spartak’s Supervisory Board, two-time Olympic champion Alexander Yakushev, Spartak Moscow General Director Andrei Veryovko took part in this event.
“Russia is a strategic area for our company. We have flights in ten Russian cities including new destinations like Samara, Voronezh and Krasnodar. Moreover, we support sports. It’s important day for us to extend contract with HC Spartak Moscow. I believe that this cooperation will help a lot to promote and develop this sport in our countries. I want to thank the management of Spartak team, we hope that it’s just a start” said Turkish Airlines' Vice President Sale, North Europe, Mahmut Yayla.
“Last year we had a special game where I took part in ceremonial puck drop. It was special moment for me and it would stay with me forever! This season we will also organize a “partnership game”. Soon Spartak will come to Istanbul to have a special photoshoot. This would help to promote our brands in Russia and Turkey. We are in talks with Turkish Hockey Federation to bring kids hockey team to Russia for games” said Turkish Airlines in Russia General Manager Turan Yardimdi.
“It’s not an agreement with a club but with 150 millions of Russian people. Because Spartak is supported by 70% of people in Russia. Our people like to have a vacation in Turkey. I believe that this cooperation will be useful for both sides and help to develop our game” said Chairman of Spartak’s Supervisory Board, two-time Olympic champion Alexander Yakushev.
“We could see how relationship between our countries is increasing and how hockey is growing in Turkey. I’m happy that our partners noticed it, we’ll help to continue this process” said Spartak Moscow General Director Andrei Veryovko.
