For the fourth game of the series coaches decided to return Martin Bakos to the lineup instead of Lukas Radil. This change helped in the first minutes of the play. Bakos opened the scoreboard at our earlier powerplay of the game.
We got the possession in the most part of the game but unfortunately, we conceded the puck during penalty killing at the 27th minute of the game. CSKA got the momentum in the third at one point it was looked like we’ll have the second overtime in the series but instead, our players lost Brendan Leipsic at the slot and it became 2-1 for CSKA. With 20 seconds left to play Ivan Telegin set the final score of this game and the series.
Spartak again struggled in the first round. We’ll come back in 2021-22 season.
